The reasonable room rate, especially close to many attractions. The room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. Noise from the nearby road was bothersome, especially in the morning. Although the shower provided plenty of hot water and ample towels, I found the lack of a continental breakfast option disappointing. Nearby local shops were a nice addition, particularly the bakery with excellent pastries.

The hotel was set in a central area close to the Fort, Ripley's, StGeorge where all the shops are located, really a great location for the price, shops, food, and Historic District parking and restaurants, bars and museums...

The Economy Inn Historic District was an excellent choice for our group stay! We booked 2 rooms on the second floor, and they were clean and modern with comfortable king and double beds. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Castillo de San Marcos and many great local restaurants. And free parking was a huge plus!
The stairs to the second floor were a bit narrow.

We experienced frustrating noise from the street that kept us awake at night. The room was quite dated and not what I expected. The absence of any continental breakfast option was disappointing.

unexpected warmth in a quaint inn
My partner and I were actually surprised by the hospitality! Every morning, the owner greeted us with tips and smiles. The location was perfect for exploring downtown, all within a comfortable walking distance.
While the room was terrific, I wished they had a wider selection of toiletries. The soap could really use an upgrade for a complete experience.

The Queen Room was supersuper clean and cozy with nice linens. Free parking was a lifesaver! I did notice it got a bit loud from the street at night, and the stairs to the second floor are pretty narrow. Still, the owners were cute and gave great tips about the area. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good deal near all the sights!
